Our Story

Why We Started TOURS

We (PRESERVE GOLF JAPAN) started organizing PRESERVE TOURS because we kept hearing the same thing: “I’m coming to Japan but don't have any playing partner—why is it so hard to book tee time as a solo golfer?”

Singles aren’t allowed at many courses, English info is thin, and the logistics feel like a maze.

So we made something simple, Tours organized by PRESERVE: set dates, guaranteed tee times, and a small group where you can just show up, meet other golfers, and play a great course the right way.

The goal isn’t only access—it’s to connect people. You land in a new country and have a foursome to swap stories with, share a meal at the turn, and maybe plan the next round together.

If we do this well, golfers get unforgettable days on Japan’s best turf—and courses get respectful, steady players who help keep this culture alive.

Money keeps the lights on. Purpose keeps the lights worth turning on. We’re here for the latter: to preserve Japan’s golf—by opening it, honoring it, and sharing it well.

Yes, we make it easier—set dates, guaranteed tee times, a small group you want to play with. But the real work is translation in the broadest sense: translating culture, history, and respect. We match you with like-minded golfers, walk you through how a Japanese round flows, and show up as good guests—so courses feel seen, not used.

If we do this right, everyone wins. Travelers get rounds they’ll remember for life. Courses get steady, considerate play that helps them thrive through seasons and generations. Locals, caddies, and restaurants around the club benefit. Younger golfers see a living pathway into the game. And a global community forms—people who travel to golf, not just golf while traveling—carrying the stories forward.
